About Grace Soaring
Grace Soaring is the worship ministry of Living Rock Ministries. The Grace Soaring Team is lead by Ministers Kristin and Chris Campbell. Originally Grace Soaring was going to be the name of the music part of our worship ministry but God created a larger vision for Grace Soaring in the hearts of Kristin and Chris in the summer of 2007.
As the vision grew so did the plans and purposes that God had planted in the hearts of Kristin and Chris. So now Grace Soaring is not only a music ministry but now it is a worship arts ministry dedicated to inspiring the Bride of Christ to come together in worship.
Grace Soaring was also a worship art's training course taught by Kristin and Chris. They have been trained in many forms of worship and are so blessed to be able to share what they have learned from the Lord with others.
What is Worship Arts? Worship arts are anything that glorifies and honors God that is done with a heart of worship. It can be anything from the traditional worship music to the creation of a beautiful piece of art! Worship arts come in many forms. Kristin and Chris are dedicated to share these different forms of worship with all who wish to honor God. That is why Grace Soaring is a non-denominational ministry. It is time that the Bride of Christ come together in worship. That doesn't mean we all have to agree on worship forms but it means we need to break free from the denominational barriers that hold us back from worshiping the Lord in spirit and truth.
As of 2008 the Grace Soaring Ministry has evolved even further. It has always been the hearts of Kristin and Chris to bring healing to the body of Christ through the worship arts. So many times in our lives we have been set free during times of worship and praise. That is why it is our desire to share the freedom and healing that the Lord brings us through worship and praise.
Grace Soaring the name came from 3 different verses that Kristin and Chris were given by the Lord. The first of which is:
Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound. O Yahweh in the light of Your face they will walk. In Your name they will rejoice all the day. And in your righteousness they soar. Psalms 89:15-16
The last part where it states "and in your righteousness they soar" is a literal translation from the original Hebrew text. Translating it from the Hebrew brought a deeper, richer meaning to the text. The Second verse is:
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
This was an important text as well to Grace Soaring because waiting on the Lord for his timing and being renewed by the Lord is so important. God will give us the strength and perseverance to get through any trial if we just have enough patience and faith to wait on Him! The third verse is:
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10
When we put these three verses together we came up with a picture of Grace Soaring. God's mercy and grace giving our spirits flight through worship! The butterflies coming out of the vessels is a picture that Kristin made to represent what Grace Soaring is all about. The transforming power of God and the grace and mercy he has poured our upon us. The vessel of fire represents the testing and trials that we all go through. It also represents the refining of the Lord. Vessel of water represents the healing, restoring and cleansing of the Lord. It also represents the rivers of living water that are to flow from us. The butterflies coming out of the vessels represents the joy, hope and beauty of worshiping the Lord. Butterflies are also another symbol of transformation as well.
